Studio Booking Agreement & Terms of Use

By booking studio time at S5 Podcast Studio, you enter into a legally binding agreement with S5 Podcast Studio under the terms outlined below.
QUICK STUDIO GUIDELINES (READ FIRST)
- Bookings are confirmed only after full payment
- Arrive on time and exit on time to avoid overtime fees
- Treat the studio, equipment, staff, and neighbors with respect
- No smoking, vaping, drugs, open flames, or hazardous materials
- No excessive noise, DJs, or external sound systems
- Handle equipment carefully—report issues immediately
- Leave the studio clean and reset before departure
- You are responsible for your guests and their conduct
Damages, overtime, cleaning, or misuse may result in extra charges
DETAILED TERMS OF SERVICE
1. Definitions
- “Agreement” refers to this entire document.
- “Studio” refers to S5 Podcast Studio located at 6, Flowertown Avenue, Brampton, L6X 2J9 Ontario, Canada.
- “Renter,” “Client,” “You” refers to the individual or entity making the booking and all guests or crew they permit inside.
- “Management” refers to the owners, operators, and representatives of S5 Podcast Studio.
- “Equipment” includes all studio-owned or renter-provided audio, video, lighting, furniture, and technical gear.
All prices are in Canadian Dollars and exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
2. Eligibility & Booking Confirmation
By booking, you confirm that you are of legal age to enter this Agreement.
Bookings for minors must be made by a legal guardian.
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
A booking is confirmed only once payment is successfully processed.
3. Studio Use & Conduct
S5 Podcast Studio is a professional production environment.
Disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior may result in immediate termination of your session without refund.
You are responsible for the behavior, safety, and actions of all guests and crew members you bring into the studio.
4. Prohibited Items & Activities
The following are strictly prohibited unless written approval is granted by Management:
- Public or open-access events
- Excessive noise or disturbance to neighboring units
- DJs, live music, or external speakers
- Smoking, vaping, drugs, fog machines, haze, smoke bombs, or pyrotechnics
- Confetti, glitter, spray oils, bronzers, or staining substances
- Open flames, candles, fireworks, or flammable materials
- Strong odors or chemical agents
- Drinking games or alcohol consumption
- Cooking food not permitted)
- Fire code violations such as blocked hallways or open doors
- Unauthorized tampering with breakers, lights, sound systems, or climate controls
- Moving fixed mirrors, ceiling-mounted equipment, or wall installations
Violations may result in removal from the studio, cleaning fees, damage charges, or forfeiture of booking fees.
5. Cleanliness & Studio Reset
You must leave the studio in the same condition as received:
- Dispose of all trash
- Return furniture and accessories to original positions
- Keep washrooms clean and usable
Failure to do so may result in cleaning or reset fees.
6. Equipment Use & Responsibility
Only equipment included in your booking or approved by Management may be used.
Some equipment, consumables, or setups may incur additional charges.
You must not operate equipment you are unfamiliar with without permission.
All damage, loss, or misuse of equipment will be charged to the renter.
7. Time, Overtime & Capacity
- Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time
- Late exits may incur overtime fees subject to availability
- Overtime is billed at the applicable hourly rate
Guest capacity limits are defined by your selected package
8. Security & Access
- Access codes are unique and must not be shared
- Doors must remain closed and secured
- Unauthorized individuals are not permitted entry
- CCTV surveillance is in place for safety and security
- Owner or the representatives can monitor the studio camera for security purposes
You are responsible for securing the studio during your booking.
9. Fees, Damages & Payment Authorization
By booking, you authorize S5 Podcast Studio to charge your payment method for:
- Overtime usage
- Cleaning or reset fees
- Equipment damage or loss
- Unauthorized activities or misrepresentation
- No-shows or late cancellations
You accept full financial responsibility for all damages caused by you or your guests.
10. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
- Full payment is required upfront
- Rescheduling may be permitted based on notice period and availability
- Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the full booking amount
Refunds are considered only if the studio cannot be provided in usable condition due to Management fault.
11. Service Interruptions
S5 Podcast Studio is not liable for interruptions beyond reasonable control, including:
- Power or internet outages
- Building maintenance or external noise
- Equipment malfunction not caused by negligence
- Late arrival or access issues caused by the renter
Any issues must be reported immediately for corrective action.
12. Liability & Assumption of Risk
Use of the studio and equipment is at your own risk.
You agree to release and hold harmless S5 Podcast Studio and Management from liability related to:
- Personal injury
- Property or equipment damage
- Third-party claims
Improper or negligent use of equipment
13. Health, Safety & Illness Disclaimer
S5 Podcast Studio is not responsible for illness or disease contracted during studio use.
You accept all related risks by entering the premises.
14. Pets & Animals
Pets may be permitted only with prior approval.
You assume full responsibility for pet behavior, safety, and any resulting damage.
15. Agreement Acceptance & Updates
By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement.
S5 Podcast Studio reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time.
The most current version will apply to all bookings.
